The President of the European Bridge League, Eric Laurant, has revealed that the EBL is in discussions with the city of Poznań which might see the Summer Transnational Championships being staged there in 2027, 2029 and 2031. There are several candidates for the 2028 and 2030 European Championships. Meanwhile, the World Bridge Federation has two candidates for the 2027 World Championships, Barbados and Zagreb.
