The latest edition of the ACBL’s Spring Nationals saw a total attendance of 6745 tables. This was an increase from last years event in Memphis, but still short of pre pandemic figures.

The major event, the Vanderbilt Trophy, went to Pierre Zimmermann’s team, Franck Multon, Michal Klukowski, Jacek Kalita, Kamil Nowak and  Michal Nowosadzki, who comfortably defeated Marty Fleisher’s holders in the final.

The Mott-Smith Trophy, awarded for earning  the most masterpoints at the Spring NABC was won by Norway’s Martin Andresen and Thor Erik Hoftaniska, their total of 319.89 including a win in the NABC+ Open Pairs and a second place finish in the Silodor Open Pairs.

William Deep Finesse Bailey’s team (Roger Lee, Alon Birman, Dror Padon, Daniel Korbel and Joshua Donn) won the main even on the final day, the Jacoby Open Swiss Teams, while the NABC+ Women’s Swiss Teams resulted in a runaway victory for Arti Bhargava’s team of Hjordis Eythorsdottir and the Dutch twins Lotte and Sarah de Wijs.
