We’re looking for bridge players who can also translate — join our team!
📢 Funbridge is looking for native speakers to help us keep our translations sharp, natural, and true to the game. If you play bridge and you have excellent language skills, this is for you.
💼 What you’d actually be doing
You work on new or updated content, guided by our glossary and style guide. Your job is to translate or proofread it, and adapt it to how players in your country actually talk about the game. A second contributor then reviews your work. Two sets of eyes on everything, always.🔎 What we’re looking for
• You play bridge and know the vocabulary: bidding, conventions, card play, scoring, tournament formats. Bridge knowledge is required.
• You’re fluent in French and/or English, and a native speaker of your language. Languages needed: Chinese (simplified and traditional), Danish, Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.
• You can commit to regular batches of work and reasonable deadlines.
• You have a diploma in languages, translation or interpreting. Translation or proofreading experience in our area of expertise is a plus.🎯 What you get
• Paid per source word.
• Free subscription to our game.
• Early access to new features.
• A contribution certificate on request.⚙️ How it works
Everything happens on our localization platform — no software to install, no files to exchange. You’ll get context for every string (screenshots, character limits, notes) so you’re never guessing.💡 Interested?
Send an email to [lien en attente de révision]@52-entertainment.com with your language(s), your bridge level and your resume. If you meet our criteria, we’ll send you a short test — general and technical content included — before we go any further. We’re also happy to hear from bridge app users interested in contributing! 😉
