As a maths teacher 40 years ago I introduced Whist as a dinner activity and found the tables grew quickly. I then introduced bidding to some tables and a year later 8 young players joined our local club. 40 years on..3 still playing regularly.
The enthusiastic players today, must share that enthusiasm whenever the opportunity arises and play cards with people on the train, bus, waiting in a queue! Let’s get enthusiasm and imagination together.
