DAY 1: Defending Champions Off to a Flying Start

Everything is going according to plan for the Norwegian defending champions, who top the standings with 35.19 VPs after the first day’s two matches. They are followed by Türkiye and Germany.

By contrast, the Swedish stars endured a disastrous start to the event. They collected just 5.20 VPs from their opening two matches and find themselves rooted to the bottom of the standings. Just above them are Belgium, one of the pre-tournament favourites after their impressive Bermuda Bowl campaign, with only 7.22 VPs to show for their first two matches.
