2NT is surely an option, but since partner didnt double for takeout, we can expect one suiter in diamonds and not 4♡. Even 3♧ is pretty risky because the deal balance tells our partner has 2 good honors and didnt bid.
After deeper analyses, I would have passed, expecting partner to have 2371. We can crossruff the hand and collect a plus score for beating 2♤.
2NT is surely an option with a trustworthy partner. I have initially voted for 3♣, but I want to change my answer to pass. Here is the reason: the deal balance is equal since the opponents were not invited to the game. Our partner failed to double for takeout, which suggests he doesn’t have 4♥. With 2452 and 2 good honors, he should have bid. Therefore, I expect him to have 2371 or a similar distribution with a heart and diamond honor. We can cross-ruff the hand and collect a plus score for beating 2♠. Playing on the 3rd level can be disastrous if ops had a borderline invite and we have three 7-card fits.
