How far could you go with D?
Today in modern Bridge, it is far more better to rebid 1 NT (or 2 NT) after 1 Hearth with a NT Hand even if you have 4 cards in Spade! There are several advantages. The only case you will loose a spade fit is, when both hands are weak! Therefore after 1Minor – 1Dia/1Hearth 1 spade woulf always show 54xx or 4441! I warmely suggest verybody to play this like that! In time you will appreciate this a lot! And frankly speaking: I don’t understand why this is not tought so today? 🙂
