You will surely get a high bid in W supporting the S. I agree with Barry that it would be good to seize this opportunity to evaluate better where your potential is. I disagree however to show the C suit, as if we have a double fit, so will the opponents, and they happen to possess the top suit. True, we have to prepare an answer over 5S. My best offer here is to show where we stand in terms of total tricks. The computation will not be accurate when we do not know where the double fit is present, but the opponents will be in the same boat. This being said, what call on 1S? It depends on the relative vulnerability. As this information is not provided, I would go for 4H which will cover many situations. Please mention the vulnerability (and the type of scoring)!
