Of course AQ would be better, but 5 cards is a real temptation. Second choice is the ♠4, which could work better. Besides, I think you are not exposing yourself to the Bennet’s fate when you do not lead partner’s suit here: partner has NOT shown a quality suit, just a 5-card suit and East might be the hungry big bad wolf right behind him.
