I would lead the spade jack. I am not going to underlead an ace, so this is a toss-up between the pointed suits. A diamond lead should be relatively safe, but so should a trump, and the latter has the added benefit of possibly cutting down on declarer’s ruffs. On the other hand, I cannot expect a diamond to achieve much. In defense of a diamond lead, the trump lead might prompt declarer to guess that I have aces in the side suits.
