Round 12

The top three remain unchanged as Denmark, Norway and Israel all record comfortable victories. France defeats Ukraine by 17.09 VP and, for the first time in the championship, moves into one of the qualifying places, climbing to seventh.

Round 13

Israel suffers a heavy defeat to Denmark and, with England scoring 13.28 VP against Croatia, the English move up to third place. Denmark and Norway remain first and second respectively. France continues its rise and reaches sixth place.

Round 14

Denmark and Norway appear firmly established in first and second place. Norway closes the gap and now trails the leaders by fewer than four VP. The third position changes hands when Ireland defeats Portugal 19.07-0.93. France loses to Sweden but remains in the qualifying positions, now in eighth place.

Meanwhile, the Women’s, Seniors’ and Mixed Teams Championships get underway. The early leaders are Estonia, Denmark and Poland respectively, with none of these nations having reached the podium in their events in 2024. The next few days will reveal whether they can maintain their strong starts.
